Graduate Engineering Program
Macmahon launched its graduate engineering program for 2017/2018 with three vacation mining engineers and a surveyor undertaking work experience at our Tropicana and Telfer mine sites in Western Australia.
Three of the graduates were invited to share their experience to help others that are contemplating an engineering career with Macmahon.
All three engineers have had similar positive on site experiences being welcomed upon arrival and introduced to their respective teams, spending time in different operational areas. From inclusion in the pre-start meetings, to exposure to the production planning and reporting with class-room style exploration and geology to driving down into the pit to learn more about the practices of drilling and blasting.
